Biomedical Equipment Technician II RHODE ISLAND
Our Lady of Fatima Hospital is seeking a qualified candidate with an Associates degree in biomedical equipment technology or military equivalent with at least two years experience working on biomedical equipment.  Must demonstrate competence in servicing a broad range of patient-care equipment.  The candidate will be responsible for the repair, calibration, safety and performance testing of medical equipment and other devices designated as the responsibility of the Clinical Engineering Department.  Candidate will also attend service training schools as they become available.  A great opportunity for a motivated individual that is willing to advance in biomedical equipment technology.  St. Joseph Health Services of RI is a 350-bed facility with two campuses and several offsite outreach centers.  The hospital also boasts a new state-of-the-art surgical pavilion.  We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

BMET I and II Positions
J.K. Hill seeks full time Biomedical Technicians for the Williamsburg, VA area.  We are contracted to build mobile hospitals for the Navy in a warehouse environment. Associates degree in Biomedical Instrumentation or military Biomedical school is required.  Ideal candidates should have 5 years of biomedical experience, extensive knowledge of patient and test equipment, and excellent composition and grammar skills required for detailed documentation.
Military, DMLSS, anesthesia, or X-Ray a plus.
Applicants with a current National Agency Check security clearance preferred.
Technicians must be able to lift 50 lbs. and pass the government security check.
Above average pay.  No on-call.

Biomedical Technician III
Amethyst Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Biomedical Technician III. Who will be responsible for calibrating mechanical, electrical and optical measuring equipment, to meet established conformance standards.  Provides supervision of calibration activities, management of NIST-traceable reference standards used to perform calibrations.  Prepare written calibration procedures and ensure their proper implementation as well as oversee calibration activities within the department.  Have the ability to perform all calibrations in accordance to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Perform duties in accordance to Amethyst Technologies, LLC Standard Operating Procedures.  Ability to read, understand and be proficient with technical manuals for various equipment types.  Experience a must. Some travel required.

Technology Manager, Clinical Engineering
Shenandoah Shared Hospital Services (SSHS) seeks applicants for a Technology Manager who have a demonstrated ability to lead a work group to achieve departmental goals in the performance of preventive maintenance, inspection, calibration and repair procedures on equipment and instrumentation used in the medical environment.  This newly created position will be located at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Harrisonburg VA.

Qualified candidates must be CBET certified with an Associate Degree in biomedical equipment technology or electronic technology.  Also required is minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital based biomedical service, and demonstrated competence in servicing a broad range of patient care equipment and systems.  Must have effective communication skills.
